About

Welcome to More Than Style!

I am Haejin living in Philadelphia and originally from Korea. I am a graduate student at Thomas Jefferson University studying Global Fashion Enterprise.

While I study fashion, I get to have interested in sustainability in fashion and realized how much it is important for our future and environment. Also, the industry is moving toward sustainability as 66% of global millennials are willing to spend more on brands that are sustainable, according to the State of Fashion 2018 report by BoF & McKinsey. However, I realized that people including me lack much information about it and just tend to follow brand marketings and fashion trends blindly. I created this blog to share my researches and learnings about sustainable fashion and what we can do about it. I also want to communicate with readers and share many different thoughts though this blog. I hope this blog help both customers and industry proceed to sustainability.
