Sustainable and Ethical Clothing Brands

A lot of brands nowadays are trying to have responsibility socially and environmentally. However, it just became one of the marketing tools for some brands instead of committing themselves since more people are interested in sustainability. We have to make some efforts to research which fashion brands are actually concerning environment and their employees and how they are doing it with transparency. Some of them are that you may have not been heard about, and some of them are well known brands but you just have not realized they have been doing it. The more we know with correct information, the more we can contribute to better society and environment. These brands are not only sustainable and ethical but also stylish and fashionable!

Known for clothes made from soft and remarkably breathable Egyptian cotton, Kotn makes some of our favorite wardrobe staples in a fair and safe production environment. Working directly with farmers, the brand pays fair prices for cotton and assists suppliers in making the switch to organic. With affordable basics such classic white tees and nostalgic 90s sweatshirts, Kotn is crafted with quality and comfort in mind. So long, consumable t-shirts. They have both womens and mens and ship internationally.

Patagonia was one of the earliest defenders of environmental ethics in the activewear fashion industry, and one of the first adopters of using recycled materials and switching to organic cotton. Patagonia is expanding its commitment to labor ethics as well by working with Fair Trade Certified factories in India, Sri Lanka, and Los Angeles. We admire Patagonia for the positive personal impact their fair trade factories have around the world.
